Danielle (Drew Barrymore), orphaned by her father's death, is raised by a wicked and snotty stepmother (Anjelica Huston) and her two daughters. When she accidentally stumbles onto Prince Henry (Dougray Scott), the future King of France, the two inspire one another to resolve their respective troubles at home in this romantic fable.
Starring: Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston, Dougray Scott, Jeanne Moreau
Director: Andy Tennant
My Movie Review:
The movie is so beautiful. I like the place, the dresses of the actors and actresses. The scenes are so romantic. You can hardly catch your breath. I like Drew Barrymore personally as an actress. The prince is also handsome. It is really nice to fall in love. It makes the world colorful.
Aside from romance, the moral lesson of the story is that when you do good things to anyone, good things will also come back to you. You might not harvest the fruits of your goodness right away but eventually you will enjoy it. You will reap what you sow.
So, who doesn't want to have a happy ending story? I believe that every girl wants to meet his handsome prince someday and live happily ever after. I am one of them!
